We spent the afternoon trying to spot a lion. There were some older tracks, but no sightings all day. Then, just before sunset, a lionesses was spotted in a nearby field. She dipped into the brush, and when we parked the jeep near by, she re-emerged and gave us a brilliant showing of her teeth. Just to the right, was a tiny face peeking out from behind the leaves. Turns out she was hiding three six-week old babies inside inside the thorny brush.
